IS Technology

We believe that technology helps raise student achievement because it's engaging and motivating. We also believe that technology helps teachers stimulate the minds of SAS students in ways that make a profound and lasting difference. Therefore, technology is integrated into every classroom at the intermediate school division. It is not taught as a separate subject, but instead used as a tool to accomplish curricular objectives. The integration specialists work closely with the classroom teachers to help them plan challenging projects that introduce, support, or extend their curriculum. They also meet with students on a weekly basis to teach the technical skills needed to successfully complete those projects.

We strive to keep our technology program dynamic and sophisticated so that we may continute to meet the ever changing needs of our students.
